DRAFT VERSION – ANSWERS WILL CHANGE

Dress code

The dress code is formal. Bridesmaids will be wearing an organge and peach colour scheme:

If the weather is warm, George will change into a more casual shirt for the evening. Amelia will change into trainers for dancing.

Gifts

We appreciate that you will have spent money just to attend our wedding, so please don’t feel obliged to buy us anything! That said…

We have registered at John Lewis – the list is available here. Alternatively, would also greatly appreciate money for the honeymoon, which you can send us here. Thank you!

Transport

Travelling to the church

By car TODO. Avoid Monk Hill! Sorry, there is no parking at the church itself. We advise parking on the residential streets behind the church towards Kewstoke Recreation Ground.

By public transport The closest station is Weston Milton, but not all trains stop there. All will stop at Weston-super-Mare. From there, we suggest you take a taxi to the church (6 mins from Milton, 10 mins from Weston-super-Mare). Alternatively, you can catch the number 1 bus from Weston-super-Mare station towards Sand Bay: the Crookes Lane stop is nearby the church. There is only one of these buses an hour, though – the 11:35 will get you to the church for around midday.

A note on walking Although Google makes the walk from Weston Milton station to the church look somewhat doable (40 mins, 1.5 miles), this is hilly and not entirely pavements, so do be warned! If you do choose to walk, just before you get to the church there is a very steep hill (Monks Hill). Don’t try to walk down this hill as there is no pavement: use Monks Steps instead (down Woodspring Avenue) and bear in mind they look like this – really not recommended in wedding attire! Taxis / buses recommended!

Travelling to the reception

By car TODO Lots of parking!

By public transport You can’t! Please let us know if you need travel arranging and we will either pair you up with someone with a car or sort out a minibus.
